I am proud to present one of the first retro liveries for the Default A330, X-Works A330-200, and the A330neo mod, the Soviet-styled Aeroflot livery! This livery features an authentic Soviet flag like what is found on Aeroflot aircraft before the Union of Soviet Socialist Republics (USSR) collapse in 1991 and authentic fonts as evidenced by the "Aeroflot" branding. I hope that you will enjoy this livery just as much as I did.

INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS:

Extract the 3 zipped files and drag them to the liveries folder of the Default A330 or if you have the A330neo mod drag the "A339" file to the liveries of the neo mod. Same instructions apply to installing the A332 variant.

    1. BRAND NEW A330-200 LIVERY! OPTIMIZED FOR THE THE X-WORKS A330-200!

    2. SELCALs added to the planes - from lots of research online regarding planes

  • Version 1.1 RC February 27, 2023

    Since the last upload of the livery pack in October, many changes happened since then. One of them was X-Works updating their Airbus A330-900neo mod with reworked wings and winglets, this required a response to this update. Second is that I already had plans to remaster this livery, for more details here is a list of the many changes:

    What's new in 1.1, please note that this is a release candidate, and additional liveries will be added in the course of 2 weeks.

    1. Realistic registration positioning: Now what does that mean? Well in the previous release, the registration was near the rear of the fuselage, now to be more realistic with actual Soviet and early-mid 90s Aeroflot aircraft, the registration is now on the tail at the bottom of the flag.

    2. New Russian Federation flag option: I (Toad) wanted to add this as frankly it's nice to give people an option between the State flag of the Soviet Union and the State flag of the Russian Federation. Please note that this version is only available for the Default Airbus A330-300 only but a version for the Airbus A330-900neo will come hopefully in 2 weeks.

    3. Better looking winglets: With the Soviet Aeroflot livery for the A330-300, the winglets are the exact red found on the final revision of the Soviet flag (1980-1991) and the Russian Aeroflot version on the other hand has blue colored winglets, the specific blue found on the final revision flag of the Russian Soviet Federative Socialist Republics (RSFSR) (1980-1991) and the first post-Soviet Russian tricolor flag (1991-1993). For the Airbus A330-900 to match the RSFSR flag, facing the aircraft is red winglets and the other side is blue ones.



    Installation Instructions:

    1. Unzip the livery of your picking

    2. Drag the livery to your "liveries" folder of your Airbus A330-300 or your Airbus A330-900neo, for some reason if you do not know where your aircraft folder even is it is typically located in X-Plane 12/Aircraft/Laminar Research/Airbus A330-300 (Or whatever you named your Airbus A330-900neo folder).

    3. Enjoy and give a review (optional of course)
